At Christ Our King we are a community of people who have been profoundly impacted by the grace of God in Jesus Christ. Because of this there is a spirit of freedom when you visit. You don't have to worry about what you wear. You don't have to worry if you have not been to church in a while. You will be welcomed and accepted no matter who you are.
When you visit us, you will be warmly greeted as soon as you walk in the door. Any questions or needs you have will be immediately attended to. If you have young children, you will be introduced to our child care workers who will be available to help care for your children during the service.
The worship service will begin with a couple of songs and scripture readings as one of our pastors leads us through our order of worship. The songs that you will sing will be robust in their content, and the music that we sing them to will be a mixture of ancient and modern.
After you listen to one of our pastors teach and encourage you from a passage of scripture, you will join with us in participating in the sacrament of communion. Communion at Christ Our King is a special time. We will pray for the world, for the church, and for each other; and then we will receive the bread and wine in joyous way. For most of our folks at Christ Our King, communion is the best thing that we do all week.
After the service you will have a chance to personally meet the pastors and ask them any questions you have. You will be greeted warmly by many people after the service. You will more than likely be invited over for lunch!
